We are back

Well...we are back from the beach...where do I start? It's nap time here...so grab some iced tea or a coke and lets chat. We left last Friday at 1pm.....took Madison out of school early and drove to Huntsville, Alabama had a nice dinner with friends whom we hadn't seen in 10 years.....that was great. We left the next morning at 9am for Florida. Miller did very well actually. We got there by 4pm....it was raining hard. But that was okay. I went to the grocery store and unpacked. We ordered in for dinner...Hungary Howie's.....and went to sleep early.
Sunday was beautiful we laid out and my girlfriend Cindy whom I hadn't seen in 3 years and posted on her wedding not long ago came up to visit....so so so good to see her. We cooked an amazing shrimp dinner...and enjoyed our time. Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday were the beach and pool everyday....we love the ocean. Miller did really well with the sand he loved the ocean....we had some jellyfish scares but the weather was perfect. I actually finished the book Barb sent me...and for those of you that would like to know and have read this book..Gift of the Sea...I'm in the Moon Shell phase.....this book was great...and very true. I continued my bible study and just enjoyed my family and life. No one fought....Madison had a ball. She even bought her "boyfriend" a sharks tooth necklace. We ate dinner at Pompano's one night that is Scott's favorite there. And watched the sunset drinking wine on the balcony more than once. We swam at night which Miller thought was sooooo cool. We walked the beach and made several cocktails and had a blast.
I'm showing some pictures I thought you may enjoy......

Dad and son easing into the ocean slowly.......after this he loved it.......
As you can see he loved swimming at night.....BIG STUFF!!!!!!
Sis and brother watching the waves coming in...a dolphin or two did a show for us.....
Scott and I enjoying our time together watching the sun set

This is for Barb......isn't it gorgeous? Wish you were there.

I hope you all have a great week...I missed you all.....

This is my idea of a vacation, Jen. It's so beautiful there. I think I could even fight off jellyfish for the chance to walk out into that water.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the book. You can see that it's a book that will be different every time you read it, down through the stages of your life.

That last photo is absolutely breathtaking. I can't think of a nicer family vacation than this.
gorgeous!

So glad you had a wonderful time!

Blessings,

That's so cool, you guys had a great time. We haven't tried Pompano's yet and was wondering if it was any good. Our fave so far has to be Saltwater Grill.

Great pics, your kids are adorable, and yes he did look like he enjoyed his swimming... just a little bit. :)

Isnt that just the most wonderful book, one that begs to be read again and again, every few years. Loved the photos - the one of you and your hubby is gorgeous, I'd be framing that one!
