Just another Monday around here

It's Monday. I have gotten up and started one load of laundry. The kids are up and have eaten. Scott has already gone. My week seems pretty easy. Here is what is going on.

1. Cleaning the house today. Stayed on it all weekend......but need to change sheets, mop and dust.

2. Finalize all Halloween costumes and sweep off the front porch for all trick or treaters. Both sets of parents come that night for dinner...need to come up with a plan for food....probably Chili or Taco Soup.

3. Finalize everything for Madison's fall party on Wednesday. All the parents should be bringing me their candy for the party today. So I will start on treat bags. I have 2 games to play so I need to get all these things together too.

4. Plan my menu's for the next 2 weeks....this means looking through cook books and getting ideas for the holidays too as I pick some things up along the way so my grocery bill isn't too crazy come December.

5. Work on more of the Christmas Cards...I'm half way through them. I need to finish getting the Christmas Pictures copied I had made in Florida.

6. Miller gets his hair cut in the morning.

7. I'm wanting to take him to the park this week as it will be pretty everyday.

8. Going to try to get some friends to eat lunch Wednesday at my favorite Chinese resteraunt.
YUMMY!

9. Go to the grocery towards the end of the week...

I think that pretty much gets it....besides Madison and her activities this week.....gymnastics is Tuesday night. Church activities were canceled Wednesday night.
I'am however taking it easy and trying to get through just one day at a time.

The weekend was really nice. We had some hayrides to go to and a Chili Party.....very fun.
Went to a high school football game ate a little Mexican food. Good weekend.
Scott is building our deck and it is halfway done....

I hope you have a great day. Staying home and cleaning today and doing my bible study...I'm behind on it. Happy Monday all!

Good Morning Jen,

For once, the week you have coming up sounds doable. You usually make me feel like a lazy sloth! LOL

I'd go with the chili. I made a huge pot of chili Saturday and it was a big hit with Rob that evening as we watched our poor Rockies lose game number three of the World Series. And I froze a couple of big containers. Rob's going to have some easy home cooked meals while I'm gone to visit my mother next week.

Your week sounds busy but fun.

you certainly pack your weeks full... but you did save some time for fun at the park...
have a great week
My goodness, Jen, you always have so much going on and sound so busy! I don't know how you do it all :)

Yeah for the new deck! My husband built ours a few years ago and I love and adore it.

I've done Taco Soup on Halloween night several of the last few years. Good stuff :) We're going lighter this week, just because my husband weighs in at work with his weight loss group on Thursdays, so I try not to cook big meals on Wednesdays.

Have a great week and a fun Halloween!
Still sounds like you have a busy but fun week! Hayride and chili night sounds like a fun weekend.
