A little Spring never hurt anyone

I thought this morning we could all use a little spring. What do you think? I haven't done Girl Talk in awhile so I thought I would just chat this morning.

Our people backed out of our sell on the house. The girl has some medical problems that have just popped up so they have decided to rent for a year...so this past weekend we got a For Sale sign and I'm writing some things up about our home for people to take and getting something ready for the paper. Please say a prayer things go smoothly. I'm a little nervous and wont go look at homes with Scott because I'm scared I will jinx us.

Madison played soccer in the snow on Saturday in 20 degrees weather....she was layered 3 times...and yes we are crazy. They won both games....hooray...Madison played goalie once and did great. She really loves her soccer. She also had play practice and the BIG play is coming up soon...2 days of it. We had a little girl stay the night Saturday night and we took them to a Japanese Steakhouse which was great....the girls had so much fun. Then we went bowling. I beat Scott...116\98...don't let him tell you otherwise..... went to church yesterday and had a great worship. I love my church. And I love my friends there they are like family. Then we took Madison's little friend home and Miller and I napped all afternoon.

This week I'am very busy with planning a Card Party for our Women's Club with J...and I have my bible study this week....He Speaks to Me......and my MOPS Steering meeting is this week. And of course Madison has soccer practice tonight and Thursday night, church on Wednesday night, Gymnastics on Tuesday night.....she has church on Friday night and we are going to Outback with friends this night..mom is watching Miller..hooray! Being busy is what I love...it keeps me going.

Spring time is coming and it's just beautiful out this morning...I love the buttercups outside blooming. I hope you all get out and see the springtime blooming all around you. It will make you feel better.
Have a great week dear friends........

The tress in our neighborhood are about to bloom. They are Bradford Pear trees and they get beautiful white blooms that only last for a week or 2 in the spring. I'm going to get some pictures to post...they are just so pretty!

Sounds like you have a busy week...hope it's a good one!

Good to hear that things are going well for all of you. Don't be nervous about the house. It will work out. We are supposed to have warmer weather this week, so I am excited about that. Kind of a busy week for me, but trust me, nothing compared to yours! Have fun!

I am so ready for the cold to be gone too! Our afternoons are pretty much hanging out out in 70's..but nights are still pretty chilly..so I'll be glad when they warm up too.

Hang in there on the house stuff...I know that must be stressful.

I have a busy week this week too! I don't know what I was thinking planning so many appts all in the same week! And today we're going to go take theBeast's 15 month pics!! I'm excited because I slacked off and never did 12 months pics for her! How horrible it that??
Love that picture, and you're right, spring is starting to pop out a little here also. I can't believe you guys play soccer in the snow!!! Sounds like you're staying so busy, so glad you enjoy most all of it! :)

Have a wonderful week!

I am so jealous of your flowers blooming. My yard still has 5 feet of snow on it...no exaggerating!!

Laura
We have some things blooming too. Soccer in the snow doesn't sound fun!
You're very busy this week! Hope it all goes well with the house.

Jen I'm sorry to hear about the house deal falling thru...it must be for the best. Why do you say your a jinxs? Be patient. My MIL put her house up for sale & before they could make plans of where or what they wanted to do...they had to move. They ended buying a house that is not quite what they want.

I love the picture Jen! I am so ready for spring. We are staring to have daffodils peek through around the neighborhood and I just love it. I'm sorry the deal fell through on the house, but God's timing is perfect, so things will work out for you guys. I always love it when you talk about your church...it makes me want to visit it. It sounds like you have a great fellowship there. Have a super week, busy girl! You should really add some more activities. :)
I am with Organizing Junkie- the snow in my front yard is to my armpits. It makes me a little sick to think about it. I have loaded my house with fresh flowers- I realized tonight that it kind of looks like a funeral parlor in here. Should be use to this weather though after living in Upstate New York, Alaska, North Dakota and now Vermont. But I am not. I am happy for you though and my snow- it's good patience practice for me.

Hmmm. So nice you are posting about spring. Here we are going into autumn (you guys call it fall). It is already technically autumn but today we had our first lovely overcast cool day. I LOVE this weather.

Jeepers - you sound really, really busy. Try not to overdo it (I understand though, I'm like you too).

And have a good week!

Glad to hear it will be spring on the mainland soon. I used to love when spring came after a long winter.

Good luck with the house. Hopefully soon the right people will come along and buy it so you can buy a new house for yourself.
