Its here. The week we have all waited for. Last minute shopping,
traffic jams, long lines, stressed out people. Lets not be like that.
Lets smile at the cashier who stands on her feet for 8 hours and
wish her a Merry Christmas.
Remember to smile this season...at the gas station, the bank, the
mall, at the police and firemen.

This last week...I send to Scott's work a plate of candy and
breads. They love it. I also run to greet my trash men with hot
chocolate, I do last minute preparations around the house such
as spot cleaning....example...dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms.
Sweep floors. Try and accompolish most of this by Tuesday so
the rest of the holiday can be resting.

Do little crafts with kids, make gingerbread houses (you can buy
these at Micheal's or Walmart and they are cheap). Make sugar
cookies, again you can buy kits at Micheal's for cheap....grab a
coupon online for one.

If you have never volunteered for a food drive or ringing a bell
for the Salvation Army or even Martha's Vinyard...you are
missing the blessing. If you have middle school or teenagers
take them. They will realize how blessed they really are. We
help at our church for a food drive. Madison goes with us. Its
nice family time with her.

I have last minute dinner get togethers this week. Old friends
and family....these moments are so nice.

Another nice thing to do this week is to take a Christmas card
and at dinner pray for that family. Your children will
start to understand why its so important to care for others.
Dont forget to read Christmas stories to the little ones this week.
Take that time for them. I know they are hyper and jumping
around....but watch the spirit through their eyes...it will melt
your heart. Grab the Polar Express or A Christmas Story some
popcorn and watch it all the way thru with them. Laugh....watch
them laugh.

Stay up on your laundry this week early....no one wants dirty
laundry at Christmas. Try to get your outfits for the family
planned by Wednesday and ironed or picked up by the cleaners
so you are not stressing over this. Go to the bank and get cash
for the weekend...dont stress.

Batteries....pick them up today. Make sure all cameras and video
cameras are charged and ready. Dont wait. Get your 2016
calenders this week. Be ready.

And make sure all your prescriptions get called in before
12/31....if you are like me you have already met your
deductible....so pick these up before 1/1!

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas. It's about our Lord
Jesus Christ. Thank him for your blessings.
Hugs,
