Lets Talk

What a week since we talked last. My tree has gone up twice. I originally always decorate it in pinks and golds...now I have a boy...so we are now all reds golds and whites....(alot of santas). I completely decorated it and took it all down..and re decorated it. Yes...I'm nuts. I was looney when it was all said and done. But the house is decked and the halls are done. We are officially decorated. I start baking soon... I have done some candy. Went to a cookie exchange and had a blast. Enjoyed myself with great woman.
My dear friend F from high school is here all month and we have been hanging together alot. It's nice to have her around. My dear friend C is thinking of coming to see me in Feb....which I cannot wait. That will be nice.
My birthday was great. Had alot of people I haven't seen nor spoke to in years email or call. I was so surprised. Even an old boss called. Birthdays mean alot to me. They have always been special. Scott took me out Saturday night. We had a really good time. Tonight we went with my parents to a local restaurant and had a nice meal. Instead of cake for dessert they sent me a tequila shot in a jalapeno pepper...and let me just tell you.....hot hot hot baby....I had to soak my mouth in ice water....lol.
But i had a good time. I spent the day with mom....and we had fun.
Tomorrow we have a play date set up with F and her son. Miller has a haircut. (say a prayer for me) and gymnastics....
I should be finishing up my Christmas shopping this week. Almost done. Which makes me feel really good.
Miller is getting a fish (pish as he calls it) from Santa. We babysat the neighbors fish over Thanksgiving and he fell in love with Sparkles. So.....I need to get the pish on Christmas Eve.....
Christmas cards are slowly going out this week. And neighbors will be getting their goodies this weekend.
I love this time of year...I can smell the fresh pine and it smells like Christmas.
