A Christmas Meme and Award

I was sent this sweet award/Meme by Barb @ A Chelsea Morning. I just love Barb. We go way back to when I first started blogging. I dont even remember how I found her blog...but am so thankful I did.

5 things I love about Christmas

1. Christmas Music....we listen to it all the time. From the day after Miller's birthday 11/29 until the day after Christmas. I made me a Christmas CD last year and we listen to it in the car. We also get on XM radio as they have great choices as well. And when the tv is off we listen to it on the holiday channel....my favorite song would be Mary did you know.....but I also like All I want for Christmas is you.....

2. The lights. Whether they are on the tree or houses or mantels.....I could sit and watch them forever. I never get tired of looking at them. I like the colors and the white ones. We go looking lights right before Christmas...its tradition.

3. The little get together's with family and friends. It's nice to have this time of the year to sit back with them and talk and laugh and reminisce. Seeing old faces and new ones are wonderful. I enjoy the dinners and the parties and all the togetherness.

4. The church Christmas program each year. I love to hear the great music and to see the little ones sing and to hear the birth of Jesus...this time of year just makes it all so magical.

5. Watching the kids open their gifts is pretty amazing also. I love to see their expressions. The excitement and smiles just makes it all worth while.

I love so many things about Christmas. So I wanted to pass this award/meme along to some great woman I have met in Blogland....their spirit is so contagious.
