For Today...December 15th

Outside my Window...it is snowing and it is dark. All I see are the lights of Christmas on people's homes. It's dark. It feels like Christmas.

From the learning rooms...just doing our Chocolate Advent Calender. And talking about Jesus in the Nativity Scene...Miller has added Winnie the Pooh to ours this year.

I'am thinking....that school will be out tomorrow due to our Winter Storm Warning we are under.

I'am thankful..... for our God this holiday season.

I'am going...no where tonight...the roads are bad. And will be home tomorrow due to the roads also.

From the kitchen this week...Veggie Soup with cornbread, Swiss Chicken Casserole, Chicken Lasagna..with Strawberry spinach salad...poppyseed dressing....and alot of candy to be made.

I am wearing..a warm up suit...its aqua

I am reading...Martha Stewart's holiday cookbook and entertaining..still....but getting ready to start reading with Madison...The Long Winter by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

I am hoping...to get last minute things done on Wednesday..so I can call it quits.

I am creating...alot of lists...as usual.

I am hearing...A Christmas Carol on television.

Around the house..stripping sheets, a little laundry, mopping floors, and bathrooms.

One of my favorite things...snow falling outside.

Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...gymnastics, church party, dinner for my parents on Thursday night, Miller gets his 3 year old pictures made one day, dinner with friends over the weekend, and lunch with a friend this week....this is the last week for Madison in school until the new year.

A picture thought I would like to share...

I like Miller's interpretation of the Nativity:) It sounds like the whole country is iced over! It makes just staying home really nice.

Aha! The weather has slowed you down. I imagine you're enjoying the break, Jen, the way you go, go, go.

Not to worry - I've posted my Sunday Meanderings on Monday more times than I can count. :-)

Strawberry spinach salad sounds so good. I wonder if my family would let me make that for Christmas dinner this year, instead of my Santa Barbara salad. I think I'll run that by them.

Stay inside and stay warm. And most of all, good for you for staying off those icy roads and staying safe.
