Friday's at Suzanne's

I really enjoy reading these over at Suzanne's. You need to name 5 of your favorite things this past week. So for more..go on over to visit.

1. Routine/Schedules started back up in my house hold on Monday and structure is awesome. Scott went back to work and Madison went back to school. It was nice to re group and start fresh a New Year.

2. Shopping by myself and lunch with a friend on Wednesday. I got 4 new tops and a new belt. I dont ever buy myself things so this was exciting. Lunch was great as well. We talked and ate and talked. It's nice to sit and have good conversation with a good friend.

3. MOPS. We had our first meeting of the New Year and made clip boards. I'm not crafty but pleased with mine. I enjoy sitting with the other women.

4. My Kona Blend Coffee. You know how I love coffee. Well we have a Cuisinart Coffee Grinder and we love grinding our own coffees. This Kona Blend from Walmart is really good.

5. Good lines at Walmart yesterday. I walked right up and checked out...fast. It was really nice.

I hope you all have a nice weekend. Miller is still coughing but doing better. I will see you back on Monday.

A good cup of coffee (hey, where have I heard that??), short lines at Walmart and girlfriend time. You DID have a good week:) I'm glad to hear the Miller-boy is feeling better.

I wish I still loved coffee like I used to. I just lost the desire to drink it about 12 yrs ago.

That last time I was at Walmart I used the self-checking aisle and it was great cause it all worked like it should. I know, it doesn't take much to make me happy.

I'll have to check and see if the Walmart in my Canadian city has Kona coffee. I haven't had since we went to Hawaii about 20 years ago.

I'm glad to be back to a semblance of routine too!

I should try their coffee at Walmart, it certainly is priced well. I don't have a grinder, but I am thinking of getting one. I love the smell of fresh ground coffee.

Nice to hear that you had lunch with a friend and such great conversation, that is always fun.

I'm not crafty either, but I'll be your MOPS board turned out fine. Usually when others around me are crafting I do much better then when I am going it alone.

A short line at Walmart? Unheard of!
And you are right - it is good to get back into routine after the busyness of the holidays.

No wait at WalMart? That has only ever happened to me once - and it made my blog! LOL

buying new clothes and then lunch with a good friend? What could be better?

Hi Jen!
I'm glad you had these good things this week.
It's nice to go to lunch with a friend and talk.
We grind our own coffee, too, every morning, but it's dark french roast for us :0)
Have a wonderful weekend...

Great 5! I haven't been back to shop since before Christmas - I got my fill then. The lines were horrendous!

I love getting back to a quieter routine too. The holidays are fun but I couldn't handle it all the time.

We buy our coffee at Walmart too but it's just Maxwell House - maybe we I need to get a little more adventurous!
These are all good things, and I'm glad you are playing along to this one, I always enjoy reading happy, positive posts!

We have been buying a kona or hawaiian coffee bean at Sam's and we grind it at home in our Cuisinart coffee grinder too! But last trip to Sam's, they didn't have them so we were very disappointed. We bought a bag of their brand (Member's Mark) Columbian dark roast. Not sure we'll like it as well as our Kona. But now I know to check our walmart too, thanks Jen!

Hope you have a great weekend!
I'm with you when it comes to routines and structure. So glad, things are back to normal. :)
